Description

A house, now a pair of shops, dating to circa 1800, with alterations made in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and two brick gable stacks. It is two storeys high and three bays wide. The ground floor has continuous wooden shop fronts featuring flanking pilasters and a fascia board. To the left is a shop front with double panes, and a four-panel door, while to the right is a false panel door and a central doorway with a half-glazed four-panel door, flanked by double-pane shop windows. Above, on the first floor, is a large plain sash window to the left, and two smaller plain sashes to the right, all with painted wedge lintels and raised keystones.
