Description
14 Queen Street is a house with a shop, now converted into two shops, dating from the early 19th century, with an early 20th-century shop front. The building is constructed of red brick with a gault-brick front and has a roof made of black-glazed pantiles, though the stacks have been removed.
The exterior features a two-storey front with two windows. The shop front is made of plate glass and includes a fascia and a canopy box that encloses a half-glazed door on the right. To the further right, there is another half-glazed door set in a reeded doorcase with a reeded frieze, which leads to the first floor. The first floor has one 8/8 unhorned sash window and one 6/6 unhorned sash window, with the left window fitted with a roller blind box.
Inside, there is a stick-baluster staircase.
