Description

The building comprises two houses, later converted into two shops, dating to the late 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. Constructed of brick, it features a pantile roof, rebated and dentillated eaves, a single coped gable, and single gable and ridge stacks. The building is three storeys high, originally with a five-window range of segment-headed sash windows with glazing bars, two of which are now blank. Similar fenestration is present above, but with smaller sash windows. The ground floor to the left has a late 19th-century shopfront with a rendered surround. A segment-headed doorway is located to the right, with a barred overlight and a single-pane window with a cornice to the left of the door. Above the doorway is an enamelled steel shop sign. To the right, a larger late 19th-century wooden shopfront is present, featuring panelled pilasters and a cornice on brackets. This shopfront contains a central glazed door with an overlight and single-pane windows on either side.
