Description
No. 12 Balderton Gate is a house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the mid-18th century and was altered in the late 19th century. The building is made of colourwashed brick and features a steeply pitched pantile roof. It has dentillated eaves, a gutter supported by brackets, a single coped gable, and a single gable stack. At the rear, there is a two-storey lean-to addition. The front of the building has two storeys and a two-window range of glazing bar sashes. There is a full-width late 19th-century wooden shopfront with panelled pilasters and a cornice, and a splayed central doorway flanked by single pane windows.
