Description

Nos. 9, 11, and 11A on Balderton Gate are two houses that have been converted into a shop and a flat. They date from the late 18th century and have undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The buildings are constructed of colourwashed brick and feature a pantile roof with rebated eaves. They are two storeys high and have a four-window range of glazing bar sashes, which are topped with splayed rendered lintels. The late 20th-century shopfront includes a central door that is flanked by splayed single-pane windows, and to the right, there is a part-glazed entry door.
