Description

This milestone, located approximately 230 meters southeast of the junction with Hatchet Lane on Lovel Lane (B3034), dates from the early 19th century. It is made of stone and has a square shape with a pyramidal top. The north-east face of the milestone is inscribed with the distances: "HYDE PARK CORNER / 24 / MILES / READING / 16 / MILES."
