Description

This is a milestone located 100 metres east of the junction with Hazelwood Lane and Binfield Road in Binfield. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of stone. The milestone is square in shape with a pyramidal top. On the north face, it features incised Roman letters that read: "HYDE / PARK / CORNER / 29 / MILES / READING / II". There is also a bench mark on the south face.
