Description

The gates and gate piers to Binfield Manor, likely built in the early to mid-19th century, consist of four stone piers featuring vermiculated, rusticated quoins and large moulded cornices. The central piers are topped with urns adorned with garlands of fruit and dog-head finials, which are heavily eroded. The entrance includes very large central double gates and side gates made of cast iron, showcasing elaborately patterned ironwork that includes coats of arms and crowned lions. The tops of the central gates are swept up towards the middle.
