Description
The stable building to Binfield Manor is an early 19th-century structure that has undergone alterations and extensions in the early and late 20th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond with random blue headers and features a low pitched, hipped slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with a U-shaped extension on the east side.
The exterior includes a small cupola at the center, topped with a swept roof and finial, and a clock face on the west side. The west front is irregular and has a coved wooden eaves cornice. There are three sash windows and three casement windows, all with glazing bars, positioned under gauged, segmental brick arches. The front also features three double, planked garage doors, one four-panel entrance door with a three-light overlight, and one stable door. The wall on the east front was rebuilt in the late 20th century. The building is included for its group value with Binfield Manor.
