Description

The gate piers to The Manor House date from around 1673, with early 20th-century alterations. They are constructed of red brick and feature a rectangular stepped plinth with a rectangular pier above. There is a broad band above the pier that has bands of chevroned infill. The piers are topped with a 20th-century moulded cornice and single ashlar ball finials. The gates are made of wrought iron and were added in the 20th century. These gate piers are included in the listing for their group value.
