Description

The gateway to East Lodge, built around 1892, features red brick with limestone ashlar dressings. It consists of two large rectangular gate piers that have plinths, ashlar quoins, moulded cornices, and ball finials. Smaller ashlar piers are attached to the inner sides, with wrought iron gates. Flanking the gate piers on both sides are low ashlar coped walls with plinths, and beyond each side, there is a low brick pier that also has a plinth, ashlar quoins, moulded cornice, ball finial, and 20th-century wrought iron gates.
