Description

These gates and gate piers form the entrance to the drive of Waddesdon Manor, dating from around 1880 to 1890. The gate piers are constructed of square brick with stone bases. They have plinth copings, moulded cornices, and ball finials. The gates are made of cast iron, featuring square railings with scrollwork ornamentation and fleur-de-lys finials to both the crest and the lower frieze.
