Farmhouse. Late C18 extended C19, altered C20. MATERIALS: painted brick in Flemish bond. Old tile gabled roof, that on extension is lower. PLAN: rectangular plan of 2 cells and central staircase, single bay extension on east. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 chimneys, chimney on right offset and projects from gable. Chimney on left was formerly external, now enclosed by extension has corniced head with clay pots. Brick dentilled eaves broken by first floor windows. Some C18 casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, others similar replacements. Symmetrical entrance front, 3-bays, 3-light windows, those on ground floor have segmental arched heads. C20 central enclosed hipped porch, with C18, 6-panelled door, top 4-panels now glazed. Single bay extension set back at left. South front similar but with hipped bay window on left. INTERIOR: original wooden plank doors with strap hinges. Open well stair with stick balusters. Tie beams exposed on first floor.
