Description
Priory Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped old tile roof. The building has a rectangular two-cell plan with a central staircase.
The cottage is two storeys high and has external end chimneys topped with clay pots. The eaves at the front are stepped, while the rear eaves are dentilled. Most of the windows are 20th-century, two-light casements with segmental brick heads and glazing bars. The entrance front, which faces west, is symmetrical and consists of two bays. The left window on the first floor is from the late 18th century. There is a 20th-century gabled enclosed porch that leads to a 19th-century, four-panelled door. The interior has not been inspected.
