Description

This is a milestone located 100 metres north-east of the junction with Hayley Green Road in Warfield. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of Portland stone. The milestone is square in shape with a pyramidal top. It features an inscription in Roman lettering that reads: "HYDE PARK CORNER 27 / READING / 13 / MILES."
