Description
Apple Tree Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century. The front is finished in painted stucco, while the rear is made of painted brick in Flemish bond. It features a slate, gabled roof. The building has a long rectangular plan with a cross gable on the left side.
The cottage is two storeys high and has three chimneys with corniced heads and clay pots. The exterior includes 3-light 19th-century casement windows, each with two glazing bars, moulded architraves, and keystones adorned with shell and flower motifs. The entrance front faces southeast and has a single bay gable that projects on the left, featuring curved, pierced bargeboards. To the right, there is a two-bay section with a pent porch at the angle, which has a Gothic traceried head. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels. The interior has not been inspected.
