Description

The milestone located 250 metres south-east of Bott Bridge on Warfield Street is an early 19th-century stone structure. It has a square base topped with a pyramidal point. The inscription, which has eroded over time, reads: "HYDE PARK CORNER / 28 / MILES / READING / 12 / MILES."
