Description

The stable and garden walls, including gates, located to the north and northeast of Woodside House, date from the early 19th century and have been altered in the 20th century. The stables, which are now used as stores, are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and feature a hipped roof made of both plain tiles and old clay tiles. The building has a rectangular plan with outbuildings adjoining on the left side.

On the northwest front, the structure is single-storey with a hay-loft above the center. It includes three sash windows with glazing bars and segmental heads, each with stone sills. There is a central gabled entry that features a hayloft door above modern wooden garage doors, with planked wooden doors on either side of the gable. A small bell tower with a weathervane is situated at the right end of the roof ridge.

The garden walls stand approximately 2 meters high, also made of red brick in Flemish bond with a projecting brick capping. The north wall features a double wrought iron gate adorned with scrolls and floral decoration, set under a semicircular brick arch. The east wall has a single wrought iron gate designed in the shape of a peacock with its tail spread.

The interior has not been inspected. This structure is included for its group value.
