Description

The Lodge to Cranbourne Court is a late 19th-century building. It is constructed of painted brick in Flemish bond and features a slate gabled roof. The lodge has a T-plan layout and stands one and a half storeys high.

On the exterior, there is a central chimney that has two stages, with niches that have pointed arched heads in the second stage, along with a dentilled and moulded cornice topped with clay pots. The windows are sash style with segmental arched heads, and there is a recessed ornamental string. The gables are adorned with decorative curved and pierced bargeboards, supported by carved brackets and drop finials. The entrance front, facing southeast, includes a single bay gable on the left side, which features a canted bay with a dentilled brick cornice on the ground floor. To the right, in the internal angle, there is a hipped enclosed porch that contains a four-panelled entrance door. The interior has not been inspected.
