Farmhouse, now large house. Early C17, extended late C18, altered and extended mid C19 and C20. MATERIALS: part timber frame with painted render infill, part painted brick. Old tile, steeply pitched gable roof of 2 different heights, with visible rafter ends. PLAN: rectangular plan of 2 framed bays with extension on north-west and south-west. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. One chimney cut down on ridge at left, one large weathered chimney at rear, with 2 corniced shafts set diagonally on base. C19 and C20 casement windows with segmental arched heads. Irregular south-west entrance front. C20 part roof extension with 3-light window on left and entrance porch set back on right. Two, 2-light projecting windows with gables above. One bay section on left. 2 bay section on right with 2-light and one 4-light window on ground floor. Two 2-light windows above. INTERIOR: some timber frame visible. Principal beam on ground floor chamfered with lambs tongue stop. Wide fireplace in dining room is stone with jambs, hollow chamfered, which carries over 4-centred arch.
