WOKINGHAM BLAGROVE LANE (North side) Hutt's Farmhouse

Farmhouse, now house. Early C16 hall house, extended C17, altered and extended mid C20. Timber framed with brick infill, partly encased in brick; old tile gabled roof. Lobby entrance plan of 2 x 2 framed bays with one bay stair turret and C20 flat roof extension, both at rear. 2 storeys. One early C17 chimney on ridge to right of centre, one tall early C20 chimney on left gable. 2 bay front. C20 casements, 2-light on left under segmental brick arch, 3-light on right; large gabled and tiled entrance porch to right of these and a one bay gabled crosswing on right hand with similar windows. Interior:- most frame exposed with straight arch and wind braces, in C17 part. Principal beam on ground floor is chamfered with bar stops. Queen post roof trusses. Old diamond mullioned windows of 3-lights on first floor at rear. Inglenook fireplace with bread oven.
