Description
Thorpe Coombe Hospital, originally a substantial house from the late 18th century, is constructed of stock brick and features three storeys plus a basement. The building is five bays wide, with the central three bays slightly set forward and topped by a pediment above the second floor. The former central entrance and its doorcase have been removed. The windows are square gauged and headed, with sash frames and glazing bars. There is a stucco band above the ground floor and a console cornice above the second floor parapet. There are extensive 20th-century additions to the right that are not of listable quality. The interior has not been inspected.
