Christ'S College Preparatory School

Christ's College Preparatory School is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features three windows. It is constructed of multicoloured stock brick and has a parapet that conceals a moderately low-pitched slated roof, with ridge ends facing the road. The building has gauged, flat brick arches over recessed sash windows, some of which still have glazing bars, although many have been replaced. The ground floor is arcaded and includes a stuccoed impost band, while the windows within the arched recesses are flat-headed. The entrance door, located in the third bay from the left, consists of six panels, two of which are glazed. It features a cornice head and a plain rectangular fanlight with a panelled reveal. The doorcase is adorned with reeded pilasters and a fluted stucco fan above. There are long, two-storey extensions to the left of the main building.
