Description

10 and 11 High Street is a building dating from around 1800, consisting of three storeys and three windows. It is constructed of stock brick and features a stone-coped parapet that hides a low-pitched slated roof. The building has recessed sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath flat gauged brick arches. There is one 19th-century casement window. On the ground floor, there are two altered late 19th-century shop fronts and a carriageway with panelled doors. This building is noted for its group value with other buildings in the street, specifically Nos 10 to 20 (consecutive).
