Description
The Three Tuns Public House is a building that likely dates from the 16th century, with a 17th-century extension. It has two storeys and three windows. The high-pitched tiled roof is hipped on the left and features a gablet. The front wall is rendered and displays mock half-timbering on the first floor. There are three mullioned and transomed casement windows on the first floor, with the center window forming a canted oriel bay. The ground floor is defined by grained stucco pilasters that support a plain fascia, with a tiled dado below. It includes two windows and a half-glazed double door. To the right, there is a carriageway with stout old timbers, including a hollow-chamfered beam. The 17th-century rear extension is now rendered and has a brick ground floor. The Three Tuns Public House is part of a group with Nos 24 to 28.
