Description

41 High Street is a late 18th-century building constructed of dark stock brick, featuring red brick window arches. It has an old tiled roof and stands three storeys tall, topped with a wooden cornice adorned with modillions. The façade includes five sash windows set in reveals beneath flat arches, with glazing bars present except for the lower halves of the first-floor windows. The ground floor is rusticated and contains shop windows, while the central entrance features a six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight. This doorway is flanked by Doric three-quarter columns and is topped with an entablature and pediment.
