Description

A pair of semi-detached villas located on Clifton Hill, dating to around 1840. The buildings are constructed of stucco with slate hipped roofs extending to the eaves. Each house has two storeys and a basement, and is three windows wide. Projecting porches with pilasters are present in the outer bays, each containing a panelled door with a paired arrangement. The windows are sash windows with cornices to the ground floor, featuring plate glass and some margin glazing. Cast iron window guards are fitted to the ground floor windows. Garages are incorporated into the basement level. These villas form part of a remarkably complete surviving development scheme.
