Description
A pair of semi-detached houses dating from the mid-19th century, located on Clifton Hill. The houses are constructed of brick with stucco dressings, and have slate hipped roofs extending to the eaves. Each house has two storeys and a basement, with a two-window width, plus a one-storey recessed entrance porch with pilasters and cornices on either side. The entrances feature panelled doors. The windows are square-headed and architraved, with cornices to the ground floor and pediments over the inner bay of each house. They contain sashes, some with glazing bars, and are protected by cast iron window guards. The pair form part of an unusually complete surviving layout.
