Description

A pair of semi-detached houses dating to circa 1840, located on Clifton Hill. The houses are constructed of gault brick with stucco dressings, and have a slate hipped roof extending to the eaves. They are three storeys high, with a basement level. Each house has a two-window front, plus a single-window recessed bay to the outside of each, containing a projecting porch with square piers. The ground floor is channelled, with corniced architraves above the square-headed ground floor windows. The sashes have plate glass. The houses were designed as part of the planned layout of Clifton Hill.
