Description

Nos 80 and 82 Clifton Hill are a pair of semi-detached houses dating from around 1840. They are constructed of gault brick with stucco dressings, and have a slate hipped roof extending to the eaves. The houses are three storeys high with a basement. Each house has two windows wide, plus a one-window wide recessed bay to the outside, containing entrances within projecting porches supported by square piers. The ground floor features channelling, while the square-headed windows above have architraves and cornices to both the ground and first floors. The windows are sash windows with plate glass. The houses form an integral part of the planned layout of Clifton Hill.
