Description

No. 62 Clifton Hill is a detached house dating to circa 1850. It is constructed of gault brick with stucco dressings and a slate pitched roof, and designed in a Tudor/Gothic style. The house comprises two bays, with the left bay slightly advanced and featuring a large gable and an inset painted lancet window. A square bay window with crenellations is set into the ground floor. The right bay has a projecting gabled porch with a 4-centred archway, containing a panelled door. A smaller gable is visible in the roofline, containing a trefoil window. The windows have architraves; the left bay features a 3-light window, and the right bay a 2-light window. The windows themselves have timber mullions and transoms, with plate glass casements.
