Description

No. 107 Clifton Hill is a detached house dating to around 1840, constructed of stucco with a slate roof. It is built in a Tudor/Gothic style and comprises two bays, with the right bay slightly advanced and featuring a large gable containing an inset painted lancet window. The building has an attic, basement and two storeys. The right bay features a ground floor window with crenellation. A projecting gabled porch is present on the left bay, containing a 4-centred archway leading to a panelled door. A smaller gable is visible in the roofline, with a trefoil window inset. The windows are timber mullioned and transomed, with dripmoulds above the upper windows; they contain plate glass casements. The windows to the right are 3-light, while those to the left are 2-light. No. 107 forms part of the planned layout and is one of four matching houses with Nos. 106, 104, and 105 on Clifton Hill.
