Description
No. 104 Clifton Hill is a detached house built around 1840, designed in the Tudor or "Gothick" style. The exterior is finished in stucco, topped with a slate pitched roof that extends to the eaves. The house features two bays and stands two storeys tall, with an attic and a basement. The right bay is slightly advanced and includes a large gable with an inset painted lancet window. On the ground floor, there is a square-sided bay window. The left bay has a projecting gabled porch with a four-centred archway and a panelled door. Above, there is a smaller gable at the roofline with a trefoil window inset. The windows include three-light designs on the right and two-light designs on the left, all featuring timber mullions and transoms with casements. This house is one of four matching houses, along with Nos. 106, 105, and 107, and is part of the planned layout of Clifton Hill.
