Description

No. 106 Clifton Hill is a detached house dating from around 1840. Constructed of stucco, it has a slate roof extending to the eaves and is built in a Tudor/Gothick style. The house is two bays wide, with two storeys, an attic, and a basement. The left bay is slightly projected, featuring a large gable and an inset painted lancet window. A square bay window is present on the ground floor. The right bay has a projecting gabled porch with a four-centred archway and panelled door. A smaller gable with a trefoil window is built into the roofline. The windows are three-light to the left, and two-light to the right. The property is one of four matching houses, Nos. 104, 105, and 107, and forms part of the planned layout of Clifton Hill.
