Description

66 Clifton Hill is a detached house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of gault brick with stucco dressings and a slate hipped roof to eaves. The house has three storeys and a basement, and is two windows wide. The ground floor is stuccoed, with an entrance in a projecting, pilastered porch. The windows on the ground floor have pilasters, and the architraves are corniced above the ground floor, extending to the first floor. The windows are sash windows with plate glass. There are panelled doors. A two-storey semicircular bay window is located on the right-hand return, featuring a stucco cornice and balustrade. The house was originally part of the planned layout of Clifton Hill.
