Description

A pair of houses dating to around 1840, situated on Clifton Hill. The houses are constructed of stucco with a slate hipped roof extending to the eaves. They are two storeys high with a basement, and each house has a width of three windows. Projecting pilastered entrances mark the outer bays of each house. The ground floor features square-headed, architraved plate glass sash windows with cornices. Cast iron balconies are present on the ground floor. A cast iron balustrade encloses the entrance steps. The buildings form part of an unusually complete surviving urban layout.
