Description

A pair of semi-detached villas dating from around 1840. The houses are constructed of stucco, with slate hipped roofs extending to the eaves. They are two storeys high with a basement, and each house has a three-window frontage. Projecting porches with pilasters are located in the outer bays of each villa. The entrances feature panelled doors, and the windows are paired, square-headed, sashed windows with cornices to the ground floor; some plate glass and margin glazing is present. Cast iron window guards are fitted to the ground floor windows. These houses are part of an unusually complete surviving architectural scheme.
