Description

A pair of houses dating to approximately 1840, located on Clifton Hill. The houses are constructed of stucco with a slate, hipped roof. They are two storeys high with a basement. Each house has a three-window frontage. Projecting pilastered entrances are found in the outer bays, with 20th-century doors. The windows are square-headed, with architraves, and are sash windows with plate glass, with cornicing to the ground floor. Cast iron balconies are present on the ground floor. The buildings are part of an unusually complete surviving layout.
