Description

No. 50 Clifton Hill is a detached house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick with stucco dressings and features a slate hipped roof that extends to the eaves. The house has two storeys and a basement, with a width of two windows plus a one-storey recessed entrance porch that is pilastered and corniced. The entrance includes a panelled door. The windows are square-headed, with architraves and cornices on the ground floor, and one window has a pediment above it. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and are protected by cast iron window guards. This property is part of an unusually complete surviving layout.
