This is a pair of semi-detached houses at 68-74 Clifton Hill, built in the middle of the 19th century. The houses are constructed of gault brick with stucco dressings, and have slate roofs. Number 70 has been painted. Each house is two storeys high with a basement, and two windows wide. They feature projecting entrances with pilasters in the outer bays. The houses have panelled doors and square-headed windows with architraves, the ground floor windows being pilastered. The windows are sash windows, some with glazing bars.
