Description
No 31 Warwick Avenue is a pair of mid-19th century houses, built of brick and stucco. The buildings rise three storeys and have a basement, featuring three bays facing both Warwick Avenue and Clifton Villas. No 31 includes a central Tuscan porch with an entablature, which holds a panelled door with an overlight. In contrast, No 12 has a square pilastered porch with a cornice, containing a panelled door with a fanlight set in a keyed round-arched architrave. Both houses have sash windows with margin lights and glazing bars within architraves, pediments on consoles for the ground floor windows, and cornices on the first floor. Additional architectural details include angle pilasters, floor bands, and a cornice.
