Description

A pair of houses located at 32 and 34 Warwick Avenue, dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of brick, with a stuccoed ground floor featuring channelled detailing. They have a Welsh slate roof. The properties are three storeys high with a basement, and six bays in width, with a recessed lower side bay at No. 34. The outer bays project forward and contain the front entrances.

No. 32 has a porch with attached Tuscan columns and a round-arched entrance containing a panelled door and fanlight, all within an architrave. No. 34 features a panelled door with an overlight within a pilaster surround. The sash windows have margin lights and glazing bars; the ground floor windows have lost their original vertical glazing bars. The ground floor windows have keyed channelled lintels, architraves, and cornices supported by consoles. There are floor bands and a cornice running along the top of the building. A stucco balustraded front wall and gatepiers complete the frontage.
