Description

Nos 27 and 29 Warwick Avenue are a pair of mid-19th century houses. They are constructed from yellow-brown brick in Flemish bond, with stucco dressings, and feature a Welsh slate overhanging roof. The buildings rise three storeys above a basement and are arranged in four bays, with a central breakforward and narrow entrance bays on either side. There is a flight of steps leading up to the panelled doors, which have overlights set in architraves beneath a cornice supported by consoles. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, include margin lights in the centre of the ground and first floors, all set within architraves. The ground floor windows are adorned with cornices and there are sill bands present. The houses are linked to No 25 by brick garages and are included in the listing for their group value.
