Description
No. 25 Highshore Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features stucco that has been scored to imitate ashlar, with brick on the returns. The building has a two-span roof covered in slate and consists of two storeys with a two-window range. All openings are flat-arched. The entrance, which has an overlight, is set in a narrow range to the left and projects slightly to form a full-height rectangular bay with original 6x6 sash windows on the first floor. The right-hand range contains an original 8x8 sash window. There is a storey band between the ground and first floors, and the eaves are boxed. Stacks are located on the right return. Additionally, there is a second entrance to the left of the main entrance, with a four-panel door of original design for the main door and another door to the passage, also of original design. The interior has not been inspected.
