Description

A pair of houses dating from circa 1836, located on Highshore Road, Southwark. The houses are constructed with stucco, featuring banded rustication to the ground floor. They have low-pitched, slate roofs with projecting eaves. The design incorporates two storeys, with a projecting central section containing one main bay, flanked by recessed bays and canted corners. Subsidiary hipped roofs extend outwards to the end chimneys to the side entrance bays. The entrances are accessed via square stucco porches, and the sash windows have glazing bars within plain reveals, with moulded architraves. A stucco band delineates the floors. The interior has not been inspected.
