Description

28A and 28B Elm Grove is a house built around 1840. It features yellow brick construction with a banded rusticated stucco ground floor and a pitched slate roof with projecting eaves, which is a later alteration. The building is a double-fronted villa that connects to the neighboring property by a one-bay link over a garage. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The central bay is slightly recessed and has flat pilasters framing the doorcase, which contains a recessed door. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and the first-floor windows have moulded stucco architraves. There is a moulded stucco string course between the floors. The interior has not been inspected.
