Description
No. 26 High Street is a house dating from around 1820. It features a stucco exterior over brick, a renewed slate roof, and a right end stack. The house has three storeys and two first-floor windows, with a first-floor band. The first floor has tall 6/6 sash windows, the second floor has 3/3 sash windows, and the ground floor has a 1/1 sash window, all set in plain reveals with sills. The entrance, located on the left, consists of a 6-panel door with a fanlight above. The building is topped with a cornice and blocking course. Notably, the first-floor window guards are made of wrought iron, featuring embellished rods with a lower lattice frieze. The interior has not been inspected.
