Description

Belle Vue Place is a house with attached railings, built around 1810 to 1820, as indicated on the Post Office Map of 1820. The property has undergone later additions and alterations, including a 20th-century porch. It features a stucco exterior over brick, a renewed mock-slate roof, tall brick end stacks, and iron railings. The house is two storeys high with two first-floor windows, which have renewed 6/6 and 3/3 sash windows, taller on the ground floor, set in plain reveals with sills. The central entrance has a mid-20th-century glazed door with a fanlight, situated within a glazed porch. The exterior includes a low parapet and copings. Interior photographs from 1991 show a staircase with stick balusters and moulded cornices. The property also has area railings and railings on the sides of the steps. Historically, it is noted as Belle Vue Place on Merrett's 1834 Map.
