Description
This is a three-storey terraced house dating to approximately 1810-1820, and shown on the Post Office Map of 1820. The house is constructed of stucco over brickwork, with concealed roof, stucco end stacks, and an iron porch. The exterior features first-, second- and third-floor bands, a frieze, and a cornice over the attic. The windows are timber sash windows; the first floor has 6/6 sashes, the attic storey has 3/3 sashes, all with plain reveals and sills. The house has an entrance with a part-glazed, four-panel door and a fanlight. The interior was not inspected during listing. A tent-like porch has a scrolled lozenge motif and embellished rods to the uprights. Historically, the house was addressed on Merrett's 1834 map as Belle Vue Place.
