Description

This is an early to mid-19th century house of two storeys, with an attic and basement, originally featuring three windows. It has a slate mansard roof with three square dormers. The house is built of multicoloured stock brick, with a parapet that was later rendered. A stucco cill band runs along the first floor. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within gauged flat brick arches. Six steps, with a cast iron rail, lead to a central door comprising four beaded panels. Attached to the door are fluted side columns, a cornice head, and a rectangular fanlight, all within a stucco entablature surround. Nos. 24 to 56 (even) form a group.
